Bala Jacket which was originally designed specifically for dogs to wick water away. Replacing toweling coats and bags we were producing at the time.

As a dog does not sweat using products that were designed for animals that sweat can cause chilling and stiffing of the muscles.

Bala Jacket produces a warm air current that wicks water away keeping the dog warm, dry helping to prevent chilling and the production of lactic acid in the muscles, helping preventing stiffness.

The Bala Jacket has cotton lining a thermafill inter lining and a waterproof outer cover.

The water proof outer cover keeps rain out in the most .extreme weather

The cotton lining allows the jacket to breath and reflects the dog temperature, The thermafill inter lining produces a warm air flow which wicks water away and allows the dog to cool down slowly helping to prevent lactic acid to form in the muscles.

The warm air flow wicks water away. Drying wet dogs also helping to prevent chilling and stiffing after work or swimming. Rather than just absorbing the wet and holding water as toweling products, which stay wet after they have absorbed all they can. .

If the jacket is put on after a mornings work during Lunch time it helps to prevent that stiff 1/2 hour at the start of the afternoon helping them to work better.

If the jacket is put on at the end of the day it starts to work drying out and cooling the dog down helping to prevent lactic acid forming in there muscles and reducing stiffness.

The jackets may be used on older dogs with stiffing joints to keep them more mobile by putting the coat on before going out, also to keep dogs dry.

In colder climates the Bala Jacket are used to work dogs in very cold temperatures.

They are not fleece but a special filling that only reflects blood heat preventing over heating.
